Creative Inspirations – The Creators Project

While researching light painting on youtube today, I came across the most incredible videos I have ever seen.  TheCreatorsProject.com is a collection of mind blowing people doing incredible things.  They are pushing creativity and technology to unimaginable heights!  

If you are a creative or techno geek, check out their site and have your mind blown in 5 min increments.  You will see some of the most inspirational and beautiful things you have never thought possible.  Light painting with lasers on quad copters, light grafitti drawn by an artist with only using his eye movements, take a walk in the rain and not get wet, 3D printers that create jewelry and shoes!  Enjoy!

Light Painting Candi

I recently had the pleasure of working with Candi Raven to explore some new light painting techniques.  This session really opened the door to a whole new approach to light painting.  This was the first session that I shot on a white background.  It presented some issues with casting my shadow on the wall, but once I realized that I could paint over it during the exposure we were good to go.  I really love what we created and can’t wait to explore these techniques more.

Mary Potter

Mary came all the way from Tennessee for a shoot with a few photogs in the area and I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of working with her while she was in town.  She brought some awesome costumes and once she put on the purple wig I didn’t want her to take it off!
